Well, people follow you when they are interested in your product and may not like the rest of it. After a while of connecting, some might unfollow and we can really do much about it. One of the main reasons for such is as mentioned earlier, is the loss of interest, Once people don’t feel the need of connecting, then you can really keep them interested. Also as we know there is a follow limit of 7500 followers on Instagram. Thus might unfollow the older ones in order to follow the new ones.
2. Competitors using Paid ads
This is another downside of it. As we know that the paid ads are given more preference for obvious reasons. They paid for displaying ads and if you are a bit low on budget then surely you gonna slip your position.
Well if you keep on updating your profile with regular posting and a well attended Instagram blogging then surely you gonna make your stand in the top positions but if you wish to compete with your competitors here, surely you have to invest a bit in ads.
3. Skills required
Well, Instagram blogging is effective when you have some good video and photography skills. Instagram as we know is a photo-sharing platform and so some cool skills in terms of photography will surely give an upper hand in our goals.
Well, there is no point in investing much in any type of equipment as any modern smartphone will easily do the job.

4. 10,000 followers for the “Swipe Up” feature
Instagram is a photo-sharing platform and so it does not allow the sharing of links except in the bio section. So in order to give a link to your blog, one has to at least reach a total of 10,000 followers. Thus until reaching this figure, more than one links cant be shared and it sometimes can be irritating for the users.
Also besides Instagram Blogging, for enabling the swipe-up option, one has to make a business account or have a verified account. Thus one has to grow to their Instagram profile first in order to avail such features.
5. Analytics not detailed
Although the insights showed are effective enough but they are not much accurate as compared to Google analytics. It’s sometimes tough to find out where the traffic is coming from exactly. Well, in this case, Google Analytics has more detailed information.
6. Tough to maintain Organic Reach
Organic reach is what every blogger or social media persons love to have. working hard for hours and getting rewards in return is what everyone wants. Well talking about Instagram blogging, then although you will be getting an initial reach this organic reach will gradually decrease.
Well to overcome such issues, it’s always better to repost them on your other social media platforms and even in your blogs.
